Patent leather is a delicate material created by coating leather with a layer of lacquer to produce a shiny finish. To maintain the quality of shoes, avoid contact with abrasive surfaces. Care should be taken with patent leather, as it is porous and can absorb darker colours. Therefore, to prevent colour transfer, store them separately in a dust bag or the box provided. Shoes can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth but rub gently to avoid scuffing the finish.
This style is a driving moccasin, which utilises a thoughtfully designed pebbled sole to increase grip and flexibility for casual wear. The specialised structure of the sole is not intended for high intensity activity or extensive outdoor wear. Such activities may cause the sole to wear out faster than anticipated and therefore impact the structure and comfort of the shoe. To keep your driving moccasins in ideal condition, try to avoid wearing them over rough or abrasive surfaces wherever possible.

"Ordered the banana suede through David Jones, but very disappointed with the actual colour and quality of the suede compared with other colours in same style. It appears light yellow on screen but it's actually more pale beige. . . . . Moreover, the left and right sides do not look the same colour, unsure if it's due to the nature of suede used. . . . i'll try my luck on other colour next time. . ."
