Edward Meller is an Australian-based company. While we welcome orders from customers in the United States (U.S), your consumer rights are governed by Australian Consumer Law.
This means that even as a U.S. customer, you are entitled to certain guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, including rights related to faulty or misdescribed products. These guarantees apply in addition to our standard returns policy and cannot be excluded or limited by us.
If you believe your item is defective or does not match its description, please contact our Customer Care team at webstore@edwardmeller.com.au. We will assess the issue in accordance with Australian Consumer Law and offer a suitable remedy, which may include a refund, replacement, or repair, depending on the nature of the fault.
Please note that duties, taxes, and tariffs paid at checkout are non-refundable, as they are collected by third-party carriers for remittance to U.S. Customs.
Warranties and guarantees do not cover damage caused by accident, improper care or use, negligence, normal wear and tear or the natural breakdown of colours and materials over extended time and use. In such instances, Edward Meller will not provide a refund, exchange, or repair.
If the product is considered to have a major fault, you have the right to ask for your choice of a replacement (if available) or a refund. If the product has a minor fault, we may elect to repair the item (at our cost) or we may choose to provide you with a replacement or refund.
Edward Meller will require satisfactory proof of purchase before providing a remedy under Australian Consumer Law. Products returned under consumer guarantees can be returned within a reasonable timeframe, subject to proof of purchase.
We highlight that any products marked as seconds or sample products must be chosen carefully, as these items cannot be returned due to the fault identified at the time of purchase. Nonetheless, if a separate issue arises that was not disclosed at the time of purchase, the item may be eligible for return under this guarantee.
