If the leather becomes wet, pat it dry with a clean cloth and allow it to air dry naturally; never use direct heat. Store your calfskin items in a cool, dry place, ideally in a dust bag, to protect them from scratches and environmental factors. Regular conditioning with a leather balm can help keep the material soft and supple.
