The GALIA loafer by Filippo Raphael for Edward Meller is a refined take on a classic, borrowed-from-the-boys silhouette. Crafted from glossy patent, soft suede, or smooth calf leather, this versatile style features rounded toes adorned with a traditional penny slot detail. Designed with comfort in mind, the GALIA includes a cushioned insole and full leather lining, ensuring a breathable fit that's perfect for polished, everyday wear.

Product Care

Patent leather is a delicate material created by coating leather with a layer of lacquer to produce a shiny finish. To maintain the quality of shoes, avoid contact with abrasive surfaces. Care should be taken with patent leather, as it is porous and can absorb darker colours. Therefore, to prevent colour transfer, store them separately in a dust bag or the box provided. Shoes can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth but rub gently to avoid scuffing the finish.

"I absolutely love these loafers! They are stylish without being too chunky (or too "regular"). I have somewhat of a narrow foot but always need a little extra room in the toe-box, and I believe this is the first pair of loafers I've ever purchased that do not need to be "broken in" to be comfortable and/or they do not slip on my heal!
