Celebrating Heritage: Carla Zampatti and Edward Meller at Australian Fashion Week
Returning to Australian Fashion Week, Carla Zampatti presented by Porsche, unveiled a collection that revitalises the brand's classic heritage. With Edward Meller as the official footwear sponsor, the show highlighted our shared values of tradition, fit and form.
The collection, ‘Dinastia,’ draws on the brand’s classic heritage to energise and refresh the iconic Australian fashion house's legacy. Dinastia introduces elements such as coin jewellery with bespoke faces in pewter, Italian maps printed on silk, and petal-sculpted tailoring and gowns. The show celebrates female empowerment, with a fit and form synonymous with Carla Zampatti.
The show is a testament to our collaborative spirit, featuring a commissioned music score by Gary Sinclair and a short film by Claudia Rose. Together with the staging on the Carla Zampatti Runway, the show is a collective effort to empower women and champion the arts.
